Sips & Sounds

On the 5th and 6th of August, the PAC Club hosted Sips & Sound, a lively two-day bazaar at UOW Malaysia KDU. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the atrium transformed into a buzzing hub where students and staff browsed stalls, discovered new favorites, and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. With support from sponsors like Zus Coffee and Emina, the event blended shopping, food, and community vibes into one memorable experience. The first day opened at 10:00 AM with vendors setting up their stalls across the atrium. A mix of products and treats welcomed the crowd — from quick bites to unique items students could take home. Many stopped by between classes to check out what was on offer, creating a steady flow of energy throughout the day. By lunchtime, the venue was filled with conversations, shopping bags, and the aroma of cuisines drifting from vendors' booth. Momentum carried into August 6th, with even more students returning for round two. While the vendor stalls kept everyone busy, the spotlight shifted at midday when student performers took the stage. Their live performances during lunch hour added a burst of entertainment that paired perfectly with the casual, social vibe of the bazaar. The emcee kept the crowd engaged, announcing highlights and making sure no one missed a thing. Across both days, Sips & Sound saw strong participation, with students and staff coming together not just to shop, but also to support their peers and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The collaboration with Zus Coffee and Emina elevated the experience, showing how partnerships can bring extra value to campus life. By the time the event wrapped up at 4:00 PM on the second day, attendees left with full hands, happy faces, and memories of a campus atrium that was more alive than ever.
