On June 13, 2024, 39 FIA-ACCA and ACCA students, along with three accompanying staffs,
went on an enlightening and educational visit to BDO Malaysia. The day began punctually with
registration at 7.30 a.m., and the participants boarded the bus at 8 a.m. to depart for the firm.

with an introduction session that presented an overview of the firm's services and BDO Malaysia
in general.

Following the introduction, Mr. Muhammad Syaffie Bin Roslizan, Senior Associate 2 in
Audit & Assurance at BDO Malaysia pitched his speech sharing his experience in the firm as an
auditor who is relatively new to the workforce. His talk provided the participants with a better
insight in how it’s like joining the corporate world.

The highlight of the visit was the interactive office tour that emphasized on the audit and tax
departments which exhibited the environment of the corporate working world for professional
workers. This interactive experience provides vital insights into BDO Malaysia's everyday

Subsequent from the office tour, the students took a Kahoot quiz to assess their knowledge of
the firm, which was previously disclosed during the introductory session and office tour. The
three winners were presented with prizes.

Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to network with some of BDO Malaysia's staff
members while enjoying refreshments provided by the office. This allowed them to ask questions
about the firm, the corporate environment, and working life.
To conclude the visit, an appreciation gift was given to BDO Malaysia as a show of thanks for
their willingness to work with PAC Club on the industrial visit. A group picture was taken to
commemorate the occasion.
