The 20th N-IVAQ

Day 2: 21st May 2022
The team arrived at MMU at 8:40am.
Ms. Mei Fong, Ms. Ashwini, Ms. Kok and Ms. Wong were the lecturers from PAC to
accompany both teams to the final round of the event. Following registration, there
was a welcoming speech from the event director of the 20th N-IVAQ,

All the top 10 finalists’ teams
were given a briefing on the rules and regulations of the final round as well
as each representative of the team needed to draw up a sequence for upcoming presentations.
Ten teams were assigned randomly
to tackle 1 out of 5 case studies encompassing financial and management
accounting, auditing, and taxation. Each team was given 45 minutes to analyse
the case study given, structure the answer and prepare the presentation slides
without referring to any external sources (i.e. internet and books).
Once the 45-minute time limit had
ended, each team was required to submit the presentation slides on the Google
Classroom in order to prevent any teams from making amendments to the
presentation slides.
The lunch was prepared by MMU at
12.15pm and the final round presentation began at 1.15pm.
Each team needs to present the
case study within 10 minutes to the panel of judges formed by various industry
professionals as well as to all the other teams.
