Community Outreach Programme
PAC Club, Pre-United Club and STARS Club join forces to organise a Community Outreach Programme to raise awareness and inspire students with the act of giving and contribute to Charity.
We printed flyers and distributed them to the residents living around KDU College.
We collaborated with Agathians Shelter, that all donated items received from the public will be donated to them. Agathians Shelter gave us a list of necessities and urgents needs of the home such as Scientific Calculators, Blankets, Bed Sheets, Rice and more.
We took turns between clubs to manage the booth in KDU College from 22nd January - 26th January 2019. We gave out a free car wash coupon for redemption to those who donated items to Agathians Shelter. The car wash took place on the 26th of January 2019. We then charged a car wash for RM6 per car to use the money earned to buy the necessities for the home due to the initial poor response.

On the 1st of February, representative from 3 of the respective clubs went to Agathians Shelter to
donate the goods collected from the public. We played some games with the children at the shelter such as Musical Chairs and ‘The Longest train’. After the games session, we had tea time that was sponsored by Student and Alumni Center for the home through the Sponsor A Meal Programme by the home itself.
After tea, we departed for KDU to conclude this successful event with giving back to society.
