On the 3rd of May 2018, 33
students from CAT and ACCA participated in a firm visit located at LHDNM and
Bank Negara.

LHDNM
We arrived at LHDNM at 9:40am. After
registration, we were given a welcoming speech by Puan Rahimah Abdullah which
was the Director of Tax Education from the Department of Corporate Service.
The next session was continued at 11.15
am where Encik Ariff Yasir Zulkafli who was under Career Management from the
Human Resources Department to talk about Future Me. In this session, Encik
Ariff explained about the benefits that will be given to accountants who work
under LHDNM. To add on, he has given some tips on how to ace an interview.
The last session was at 11.45 am where a
topic on Let’s Share by Encik Vijayen A/L Nagalingham who was the Director of
Aggressive Tax Planning from Special Action Department where he gave a
motivational speech on his career journey to how he ended up working in LHDNM.
After lunch, there was photograpy
session among all participants and the speakers.

BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA
We arrived at Bank Negara Malaysia
Museum and Art Gallery at 2pm. After registration, there was a briefing by the
Visitor Services Officer.
Our first session was a talk from LINK
about Financial Scam at MAG Theatre . They explained a few scams that were
happening in Malaysia which included Love Scam and Macau Scam.
We went on a tour of the museum after
the talk.
At 5.30 pm, participants returned to KDU College.
