All our hardwork are paid out looking at the success of PAC's very first leadership camp. The Broga Leadership Camp was held on 20th- 21st August 2010 and was participated by both CAT and ACCA students of KDU.
Our adventure started on a delightful Friday morning. All participants were gathered at KDU's main entrance that fine morning for registration, to get their name tags, group allocation and goodie bags =) While waiting for the bus to arrive in KDU to pick us up to Broga Outbac Camp, all participants gathered around, talking and laughing, getting to know each other.
When the bus finally arrived, all participants were asked to sit according to their groups in the bus to discuss their group name, how their group flag should be drawn, performance for campfire, and getting to know their own team members. Along the journey, everyone was really excited planning for the day ahead and through the look in their face, we know that they were certainly having fun and we were very glad that they do.
A hectic day full with many awesome and exciting activities awaits us upon arriving at the camp site. Everyone was gathered at the multi- purpose hall for briefing by Dr. Yap and was then allocated into their respective rooms.
The following are the breath- taking activities we had during the day:
• Flying fox
• Rock climbing
• Leap of faith
• Kayaking
• Mountain biking
• Leopard’s Crawl
• Low Ropes Course
• 12-feet Wall
• Nitro Crossing
• Spider’s Web
• Whale Watch
• Crocodile Pit
• Giant Finger
When the sun sets and the night came, the committee organized various activities to fill up the time and to allow all participants to get to know each other further. Among the activities carried out were the Drag Queen where 4 guys, 1 from each group were dressed up with the materials given by the MCs. Then the Happy Family where all participants were divided into groups of 4, playing the role of daddy, mummy, sister and brother doing acts specify by the MC. The fire camp dance was up next where all participants gathered in a circle doing the dance taught by our very own committee members. The night continued with the performances from all 4 groups and the committee members' performance. Finally, the night ended with a BBQ session prepared by the camp's facilitators.

When the clock strikes 4.30am the next morning, everyone was up getting ready to hike Broga Hill. All participants were gathere at the basketball court for briefing and warm up before continuing our journey to watch the sunrise on Broga Hill. Everyone managed to reach peak 1 of Broga Hill and was really excited looking at the beautiful scenery in that fine morning, taking down pictures for memories.
After the sunrise, all participants headed back to the camp for breakfast and shower before gathering in the multi- purpose hall for the closing ceremony. During the closing ceremony, prizes were given out to the winners of the games which was held the night before. Champion goes to Royal Rebels followed by 1st runner up, Fire Bender, 2nd runner up, Avatar and finally 3rd runner up, The Hulk. The committee members then wrapped up the leadership camp with a sharing session while waiting for the bus to arrive to pick us up to our lunch destination before heading back to KDU.
