On 25 March 2025, UOW Malaysia KDU, in collaboration with Yayasan Peneraju, hosted the YP Talents x UOW Malaysia Iftar Celebration. The event began with an opening speech by En. Mohamad Azlan Mohd Ismail, Vice President of Yayasan Peneraju BetaOps, followed by a welcoming speech from Mr. Gabriel Lau Chi Wen, Principal of UOW Malaysia KDU. Both esteemed speakers emphasized the importance of education and community support, setting the tone for an evening of meaningful connections and shared experiences.

The event provided a warm and welcoming environment for Yayasan Peneraju-sponsored talents to come together, break fast, and strengthen their bonds with fellow scholars. Adding to the occasion, an inspiring sharing session featured ACCA Prize Winners who shared their academic journeys and achievements. Elisya Qaisara Johan, who ranked 1st in Malaysia and 5th in the world for Performance Management (PM) in the December 2024 exam, and Abdul Mujib Abdul Malek Beh, who achieved the same rankings for Audit and Assurance (AA), shared their experiences and study strategies, motivating their peers to strive for excellence.

During dinner, the audience enjoyed an unplugged guitar and vocal performance by Muhammad Syamil, adding a touch of artistry and warmth to the event.

Beyond the Iftar, Encik Alias Iskandar from Yayasan Peneraju AlphaOps introduced scholars to a new financing scheme to support their educational aspirations. This session provided the scholars with valuable insights into flexible financial assistance available to aid their academic progression. The speaker also highlighted the importance of continuous upskilling to stay competitive in the corporate world. To further engage the audience, a lively Kahoot quiz was conducted, sparking enthusiasm and friendly competition among the students.
