September Campus Breakout 2024: A Day of Fun, Friends and Sweet Treats at UOW Malaysia!
On 24th of September, we hosted our Campus Breakout event at UOW Malaysia’s Glenmarie Campus, and it was a day to remember! From 9 AM to 5 PM, the Atrium was lively with excitement as FIA and ACCA students came together to learn about the Professional Accountancy Centre (PAC) Club, make new friends and enjoy some delicious treats.
Negaraku and Setia Sing-along
The event begins with everyone standing up and singing the national anthem, “Negaraku” together. After that, we sang “Setia”, a song that can lighten up the mood as well as making everyone feel connected with one another. Then, the Student Council (SC) took the stage and led us in reciting the Rukun Negara. The Atrium echoed with voices of students reciting the Rukun Negara creating an atmosphere filled with unity and respect. Finally, a student representative came up and read a beautiful poem, adding an emotional touch to the event.

Cultural Performance
The event continues with vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the rich and diverse traditions within our community. Traditional dancers took the stage in colourful costumes and attire, performing intricate routines that mesmerized the audience. The steady beats of tunes accompanying the performances enhanced the experience and creating a much lively ambiance. It was a beautiful show of our traditions as well as talents of the respective performers, making the event extra special and unforgettable for everyone there.
Chocolate Goodness and Refreshing Lemonade
One of the highlights of the event was our food booth! We served up moist chocolate cake and fresh lemonade, which became instant favourites among everyone who attended.
Moist Chocolate Cake: Our perfectly moist chocolate cake was the ultimate sweet treat. Each bite was perfectly moist and packed with chocolatey goodness, giving everyone a satisfying treat to enjoy throughout the day.Skee ball Tournament with a Prize on the Line
The real excitement, though, was over at the Skee ball game! Students lined up to take their shot at winning the RM50 prize for the highest score. The competitive spirit was high, with friends cheering each other on and celebrating each close shot. It was amazing to see everyone getting involved, having fun and sharing some friendly rivalry.
Whether you were a Skee ball pro or just having a go for fun, the game added an exciting edge to the day. And, of course, the winner walked away with RM50 and some serious bragging rights!

Wrapping Up a Day of Fun and Connection
By 4:30 PM, it was time to wrap up, but we ended the day with full hearts (and maybe a few extra slices of cake!). Campus Breakout was more than just a club promotion. It was a celebration of community, connection, and a reminder that we’re all part of something bigger here.
We’re looking forward to welcoming new members to PAC Club, and if you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry because there will be more events, more treats, and more chances to join in the fun. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!
