At 10:30 AM, parents and guests started filling up the seats in the Lecture Theatre Hall for the event. The ceremony began with a warm welcome from the emcees, followed by the National Anthem, with everyone standing in respect. A QR code to access the event booklet was displayed on the screen for guests to scan.
Next, speeches were given by Mr. Gabriel, the Principal of UOWM, and Mr. Chan, the Head of Department. The award presentations then began, starting with the Top Scorers for December 2023 and June 2024, presented by Mr. Daniel. After that, the Prize Winners for December 2023 and June 2024 were honored by a representative from ACCA Malaysia.
Mr. Gabriel then handed out certificates to the students who completed the Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) Qualification for the 2023/2024 cohort. Following this, certificates of completion for the ACCA Qualification were awarded, along with complimentary water bottles, to successful ACCA affiliates from September 2023, December 2023, March 2024, and June 2024.
Tokens of appreciation were also presented to the PAC Club members of 2022/2023 by Mr. Chan. Mr. Chan further expressed gratitude by presenting tokens to the representatives from ACCA Malaysia. Mr. Daniel shared some inspiring words for all the award recipients, encouraging them to keep pushing forward.
The event wrapped up with the emcees offering final words of thanks and motivation. Group photos were taken with each group of awardees and VIPs. Afterward, everyone was invited to head upstairs to the first floor for lunch.
While the guests enjoyed the meal, the Media team stayed behind in the hall to interview some of the award recipients. Their stories of success and motivation will be shared to inspire other students. The entire event was livestreamed on UOWM PAC's YouTube channel for those who couldn’t attend in person.
