Firm Visit to PwC Malaysia and BDO Malaysia

FIRM VISIT TO PWC MALAYSIA AND BDO MALAYSIA

On the 1st August 2019, 42 participants from both ACCA and CAT course participated in firm visit to PwC Malaysia and BDO Malaysia.

At 8:00a.m., registration has started at the main entrance of KDU College. All participants were registered by 9:00a.m. and depart from KDU College.

Bus arrived at the first destination, PwC Malaysia at 9:40a.m.. A welcoming speech was given by Mr. Kent, a representative from Human Resources Department who also introduced us to PwC Malaysia.

At 10:40 a.m., a personal experience sharing session was given by Ms. Mei Ying. A Q&A session with Ms. Mei Ying was carried out, participants were actively participated in the session.

Next, participants start to have tea break and networking session with PwC staff. After the networking session, participants were separated into 3 groups to have office tour in PwC Malaysia. 

Finally, it has come to the end of the event. Event director passed the token of appreciation from KDU College to PwC Malaysia. Then there was photography session among all participants and the speakers in PwC Malaysia.

At 12:45 p.m., depart from PwC Malaysia to the next destination, BDO Malaysia. Participants have their lunch break at restaurants around BDO Malaysia and gather at the lobby of BDO Malaysia at 1:45 p.m..

Sharp at 2:00 p.m., Ms. Hsiao Leng, Manager of Talent Recruitment People & Culture Department started with a welcoming speech and introduction to BDO Malaysia as well as the agenda arranged. 

Next, an experience sharing session as an auditor was given by Miss Hui Sin. Q&A session was carried out for participants to understand more about the role of an auditor. 

Finally, it has come to the most exciting part which is an office tour.  All participants were separated into 2 groups to carry out office tour.

At 3:20 p.m., participants have their refreshments as well as networking session with BDO Malaysia staff. 

Follow with the session of event director pass the token of appreciation from KDU College to BDO Malaysia. 

Finally, August Firm Visit 2019 has come to the end. At 4:30 p.m, depart from BDO Malaysia and safely arrived at KDU College at 5:10 p.m.
